What we were asked to do
Max Bögl tasked us with conducting a comprehensive analysis to assess the feasibility and strategic approach for introducing their innovative Transport System Bögl (TSB) into the Indian market. The focus was on identifying opportunities, understanding potential challenges, and evaluating how TSB’s unique capabilities could align with India’s rapidly growing urban transit needs. While the specifics of our approach remain proprietary, the research aimed to provide a tailored strategy that accounted for market dynamics, regulatory landscapes, and cultural considerations.
Outcome for Max Bogl
Our research highlighted Bangalore as the most favorable city for the implementation of TSB, given its ongoing metro expansions, rapid urban growth, and alignment with sustainable development goals. We recommended a phased entry strategy that emphasized establishing relationships with government stakeholders and local partners to navigate India’s hierarchical decision-making processes. To build credibility, we suggested showcasing a proven TSB system in a comparable market before entering India. Additionally, we identified the importance of leveraging public-private partnerships to mitigate financial risks and ensure project viability. These findings provide Max Bögl with a solid foundation for positioning TSB as an innovative and sustainable solution tailored to India’s evolving transportation needs.
