What we were asked to do
We were tasked with researching the dynamics and identifying collaboration opportunities with the Port of Buenos Aires. This involved conducting an in-depth analysis of the port’s business model, mapping out key stakeholders and their interests, assessing its financial position, and evaluating the status of its logistics infrastructure. Additionally, we aimed to understand the political and economic landscape impacting the port’s operations. The project included extensive data gathering and interviews with authorities of the Port of Buenos Aires, logistics experts, governmental ministries, and journalists to ensure a well-rounded perspective.
Outcome for the Port of Rotterdam
Our research provided a detailed analysis of the Port of Buenos Aires, identifying strategic collaboration opportunities for the Port of Rotterdam. The findings offered valuable insights into the operational and financial framework of Buenos Aires, highlighting areas for potential knowledge exchange and joint initiatives. We also mapped out stakeholder interests, emphasizing the importance of building partnerships that align with shared goals in sustainable and efficient port management. By leveraging these insights, the Port of Rotterdam can strengthen its global network, foster mutually beneficial collaborations, and contribute to enhancing the logistics capabilities of the Port of Buenos Aires.
